Elaboration on failure and

I've always held a strong belief that we always have a choice-- although we don't like most choices-- and failure is always an option. Well, it just snapped... that sounds awfully ridiculous outside of my head. I mean, it just sounds so... false and hypocritical. But I assure you, it's not. Much of what I think is justification to myself too, so everything I write went through my head as a logic process.

Failure as an option is like considering death as a winning strategy in life. I guess, my saying that failure is always an option is my way of saying "Yeah, we might lose, so what?" A confidence technique, in other words. We can't be afraid of failure, just like we can't be afraid of anything else in life. Fear causes us to hesistate and restrain... I've learned that isn't a winning strategy either. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Whenever I think of this, I always remember that scene in D3 Mighty Ducks, where Coach Orien shouts "YOU CAN'T BE AFRAID TO LOSE." I like that scene.

Unfortunately, the back-and-forth in my head was much more intellectual and lengthy. I wish I had a mind-recorder, so I could play back everything I thought over a period of time.
